Miles Allinson's Fever of Animals has this week been shortlisted for the Western Australia Premier’s Book Awards.
Miles won the Victorian Premier's Unpublished Manuscript Award in 2014 for this book, and earlier this year took out the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award People’s Choice.
Following a young man's search for an obscure Romanian painter, Fever of Animals is uncanny, occasionally absurd, and utterly original in its reflections on art, grief and broken relationships.
The 2016 Western Australian Premier’s Book Awards will take place on Monday 3 October 2016. For more information on the awards and the shortlisted titles, see here.
