Scribe is pleased to announce that Among the Lost by Emiliano Monge (trans. Frank Wynne) and At Dusk by Hwang Sok-yong (trans. Sora Kim-Russell) have been longlisted for the 2020 National Translation Awards (NTA) in Prose by the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA).
The winning translators will receive a $2,500 cash prize each. The awards will be announced at ALTA’s annual conference, which this year has gone virtual. The awards ceremony will air on 15 October, 2020 on ALTA’s Crowdcast page: you can register to attend the NTA in Prose event here. The shortlists will be announced at the end of September.
